We're "re-booting" the Ward 30 Cycle Toronto group with an April 24th, Ward 30 Bike Summit!
We're looking for community leaders, activists and thinkers who wish to help brainstorm a complete streets, activist path forward for Ward 30 - and the greater east end (because everything is connected).
Help us identify the issues around which we can organize, grow and help create real change on our streets!
Hear from other local advocates, Councillor Fletcher and a City of Toronto cycling planner - Christina Bouchard.
The transformation of Queens Quay is well underway. This will include a new section of the Martin Goodman trail. Part of an
award-winning plan to make the central waterfront a world-class
destination, Queens Quay is on its way to becoming the grand
waterfront boulevard Toronto deserves.
Progress Report
Construction crews are making steady
progress and the project is on track for
its Spring 2015 completion. Over the past
several months, crews have been upgrading
Hydro infrastructure, rebuilding aging storm
and sanitary sewers and preparing to rebuild
the TTC streetcar corridor.

The next Bells on Danforth meeting is this Thursday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m.

The intensification and development of new communities in the Lower Don Valley neighbourhoods will bring an estimated 80,000 new residents into the core of the city. These new residents will significantly increase the demands put on the Lower Don River valley lands as a place to recreate, commute and explore.
