I'd like to invite everyone to the inaugural meeting of the Ward 17 Cyclists Advocacy Group! I decided to get involved in cycling advocacy in my ward after attending the Toronto Cyclists Union advocacy re-launch event. I hope that this meeting will be an opportunity to form a strong group of dedicated and passionate cycling advocates, and will mark the beginning of a safer, healthier, and more fun future for cyclists in and around our neighbourhoods.
Location:
Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood Community and Health Centre
Waterfront Toronto is hosting a Public Drop-in Session on January 19, 2011 from 5 to 8pm at the Harbourfront Centre, Lakeside Terrace (235 Queens Quay West). Alot is about to happen for our ward. We will update on what happened at the Bike union Ward Advocacy meeting on November 27.
