Bike 2 CAP AIDS 2010
CAP AIDS' mission is to help Africans resist, survive and overcome the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. BIKE 2 CAP AIDS is a fun-filled, family-friendly, bike-a-thon held in cities across Canada.
Every $200 raised allows CAP AIDS to provide a bicycle and other supports to an HIV and AIDS outreach worker in Africa. With a bicycle, the outreach worker will able to provide HIV and AIDS prevention, care, and support services to five times as many people.
Thanks to past support CAP AIDS has to date provided more than 200 bikes to AIDS service organizations and outreach workers in Ethiopia, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.
This year's Bike 2 CAP AIDS 2010 bike-a-thon events will be held in Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria during the 2 weekends of June 12-13 and June 19-20, 2010. CLICK HERE to register!
