Great Streets, Healthy Cities: Car Free Sundays Best Practices
Car Free Sundays are fantastic programs where the streets are opened to people and closed to cars. Car Free Sundays allow people to walk, bike, dance, skate, and do just about any physical activity on public spaces that are always there but are normally reserved solely for the use of automobiles.
This will be a great opportunity to learn about and discuss Car Free Sundays and other pedestrian related issues. We’re looking forward to meeting with a diverse group of engaged citizens from a wide range of communities, so please pass this information on to your friends, family and community.
