Public Meeting on proposed Improvements Marie Curtis Park
At Marie Curtis Park 6:00 PM
To discuss the proposed improvements to the Park.
The meeting will be outdoors in the park, so please dress accordingly.
Ideas we should bring forward to support cycling:
- Ample Bike Parking at each the activity areas within the park
- Bathrooms which can be used used year round for cycling commuter who cross through the park, and for other year round park users
- Link the E-W cycling trail to the trail which follows up the Etobicoke Creek
- Make the service driveway shared with the Multi-use path to reduce the amount of paved area in the park
- improve the entrances in order to make it much harder to park a vehicle in such a manner that it blocks cycling traffic from using the entrances
