Toronto Cyclists Union monthly drinks night (aka '5 a 7')
Want to hear about what the Toronto Cyclists Union is up to? Do you have ideas for current projects or future campaigns? Want to share stories of the road or current events that are of interest to your community? Then come on out to the Victory Cafe on the last Thursday of the month and raise a glass with your bike union!
(From wikipedia): Cinq à sept ("five to seven") (pronounced "sank-ah-set") is a Quebec French term for a time in the afternoon intended to be spent with friends or colleagues, enjoying light pre-theatre meals, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres or to escape rush hour traffic. A "cinq à sept" is held before the formal dinner hours, before the participants eat in restaurants, and is not strictly between five and seven o'clock.
This monthly event is intended to provide a space where bike union board, executive, management team, ward captains, volunteers, and members can come together and converse over a refreshing beverage. This event is not formal and is not a meeting. Rather, it is a space where the bike union can meet for the sake of meeting.
We have a room booked for this time, just hang a left once you're in the front door. Hope to see you there!
The Victory Cafe is a family-friendly environment.
