TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Club - Open House
The TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling Club is holding an Open House on Wednesday March 31, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm at the CNIB Cafeteria, 1929 Bayview Ave, just north of Eglinton.
The TRAILBLAZERS is a recreational cycling club with a twist! We give blind and vision impaired people the opportunity to cycle with sighted guides on our tandems. We are a registered charity and are always seeking new volunteers to ride with our members. You can choose to ride as much or as little as you like, and rides can accommodate your schedule. We offer group rides throughout the year, as well as individual impromptu rides, coordinated by our ride convener. If you are interested in joining as a member or volunteering for the club, we invite you join us at our Open House!
The Open House will include a meet and greet with new and existing "Stokers" (members) and "Captains" (volunteers), member and volunteer registration, group ride sign-up and an orientation ride.
